2) In the late 2000s I saw this happen a lot with nonrelational databases. Not every application should use a nonrelational database.

@iAmWilliAmKing I suspect their endeavor won’t end well - using a block chain for a centralized system is pointless and inefficient.

@iAmWilliAmKing Ripple is a value transfer system, not a standalone currency like Bitcoin. It’s not as open a system as Bitcoin.
